In an attempt to increase the adoption of their tokens, the cryptocurrency Tron has decided on making their vouchers accessible in the stores across Italy and Spain. The vouchers can be purchased with digital tokens. Thereafter, the vouchers can be used to further acquire cryptocurrency.

Justin Sun, CEO of Tron tweeted, “Thanks for the support to #TRON. Now you can buy $TRX at over 20000 stores in Spain and Italy or at”

Bitnovo, the cryptocurrency exchange which trades TRX in Spain and Italy, has taken on board a security team as the emphasis on security, on their part, has always been high. The platform also trades other digital currencies like Bitcoin, Litecoin, and Ethereum. Apart from Bitnovo, other market chains that trade in TRX are Carrefour, Game, and FNAC.

Tron’s collaboration with Bitnovo is not the first time that the crypto firm has joined hands with major names of the industry. Last month in June, Ledger, a startup based out of France, specialising in hardware wallet and custody announced that their hardware wallet, Nano S will now be supporting the Tron currency.

To top this development, Tron has come out with the Tron Virtual Machine (TVM), a device compatible with Ethereum Virtual Machine. The project has been profitable for the company as the cost of switching from TVM to EVM is rather less.

The digital currency is also one of the latest entrants in the Atomic wallet, a multi – OS, decentralised wallet and crypto exchange service, which has around 300 cryptocurrencies listed with it.

CEO Justin Sun also got vocal about Project Atlas, which is an initiative to bring into the Tron community, over a million users of BitTorrent. This is definitely a major step towards building a large community for the digital currency. He was quick to quote Tron community as “the largest decentralized internet ecosystem in the world.”

Tron was also in the headlines after it came out with its Tron wallet, an app available on Google Play Store. The step was taken in collaboration with a software firm Getty/IO. The iOS version of the wallet is reportedly in progress.

By making the Tron vouchers available in more than 20000 stores, Tron has taken a major step towards encouraging mass adoption of the cryptocurrencies
