If you are one who hangout carrying Bitcoin in the pockets and always look for some delicious food in any fancy place, then there’s good news here, in case you are living in Denmark, now you can have anything of your wish list in any of the 1500 restaurants who have decided to take Bitcoin as a mode of payment in Denmark.
Denmark, a country which is not only famous for its Vikings and pastries, but now the mini country of Europe has started following the new ritual where people can use the virtual currency in their famous restaurants.
There is always a limitation in purchasing anything with Bitcoin, as the prices can rise anytime and you can land in unnecessary losses. However, there are few firms that are trying the trial to use the leading cryptocurrency as a mode of payment.
Hungry.dk – Serving in Exchange of Bitcoin
The firm Hungry.dk is accepting Bitcoin payments since 2014; therefore, the trend of accepting virtual currency is not a new thing. They started serving people when the crypto evolution had started four years back. One of the Hungry.dk representatives said that they have started accepting Bitcoin as a mode of payment. Last year, they removed the temporarily feature; as it was taking more than average time for the transactions process. As far as the experience is concerned, it was a good decision. He further added:
“The problems have been solved for now. We have added the option on the platform – Hungry.dk which is handling the payments. Now you will always be able to use the cryptocurrency in all the restaurants which are linked at Hungry.dk.”
In 2017, when there was seen an explosion in Bitcoin prices and mass interest, the firm Hungry.dk was not the only merchant to cease the payment in Bitcoin. Other merchants were also not accepting the crypto payments. Last year, there was also seen an all-time high of leading crypto, and it also went through lifetime low during the market fluctuations this year.
The cryptocurrency adoption is growing across the world, as mass adoption of crypto in restaurants in Denmark is one such example. If you’re one planning to spend some vacations in Denmark, then, do carry some Bitcoins with yourself.
